Terre des hommes (Tdh) is recruiting a Logistic Coordinator for Nigeria, based in Maiduguri. Position start date: 01.12.2026. Contract type: CDM, 12 months, unaccompanied status. Tdh has been present in Nigeria since 2008, operating across five states (Borno, Benue, Nasarawa, Ondo and Cross River) in health, WASH, migration, access to justice, education, and child protection, alongside a Child Rights in Business programme addressing child labour in cocoa-producing communities. Under the responsibility of the Country Director, the Logistics Coordinator guarantees the logistics performance of the delegation: designing and deploying the national logistics strategy; supporting programs on logistical aspects across the project cycle; implementing and ensuring respect of Tdh's logistics framework (supply, fleet, equipment, stock, premises, IT); strengthening logistics capacities of staff and partners; coordinating logistics activities across departments and field bases; defining internal control mechanisms for proper use of resources; optimizing logistics workflows; and contributing to operational security strategy with the Country Director and Security Advisor. The role hierarchically supervises the coordination's logistics team and functionally the delegation's logistics staff. Requirements: Master's degree in Logistics/Transport/Administration or related field; minimum 5 years' experience as a logistician in an international NGO, including emergency or unstable security contexts; team management and training experience desired; mastery of logistics and donor procedures (ECHO, SDC, CDCS, UNICEF, etc.); strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills. English required, French an asset. Conditions: Swiss contract, gross monthly salary between 5000-5800 CHF x13.36 months, insurance (sickness, accident, repatriation), 25 days annual leave, flights to duty station, 3 R&R/year, shared housing.
