WRI Indonesia is implementing the BFM-BPDLH Project, which includes a substantial procurement portfolio across Aceh and West Sumatra covering goods, services, professional services, equipment, and construction-related works. The Procurement Officer will translate approved procurement plans into executable packages and manage assigned procurements throughout the lifecycle - planning, packaging, sourcing, evaluation, award, contracting, delivery, acceptance, documentation, and close-out. Based in the Operations Department in Jakarta with a hybrid work arrangement (8 days per month in office) and travel to project sites in Aceh and West Sumatra, the role works closely with project teams, procurement colleagues, regional staff, finance, and legal to ensure procurement is timely, cost-effective, transparent, well-documented, and compliant. Responsibilities include consolidating procurement plans into implementation plans, preparing specifications and solicitation documents (RFQs, RFPs), conducting market research and price benchmarking, coordinating evaluations and negotiations, processing contracts/POs in Workday, monitoring supplier and contractor performance, and maintaining complete procurement documentation and trackers. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, procurement, finance, law, or related field; minimum 3 years of relevant procurement, sourcing, contracting, or vendor management experience, preferably in a nonprofit or donor-funded environment; knowledge of the Indonesian government procurement system; experience with ERP/procurement systems (Workday preferred); strong analytical skills; good written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia and English; ability to travel to Aceh and West Sumatra; legally able to work in Indonesia. Full-time fixed-term employment agreement up to 31 March 2027.
