Under the overall supervision of the Regional Director and Project Investigators (PIs), the Projects Manager will be responsible for overall work planning, day-to-day management, delivery and reporting of the IKI projects CAP4BIO (Brazil, Peru and Colombia) and Transformar para Conservar (Peru and Colombia). The role bridges strategy and execution, including coordination of consortium member activities, organization of consortium meetings, contracting of consultants and external services, donor reporting, environmental and social safeguards reporting, MEL and indicator reporting, in compliance with donor guidelines and Landscape Alliance policies. Key duties include strategic and operational planning, project coordination and delivery, donor reporting, partnership management, knowledge management and communication, budgeting and financial oversight, and safeguards and learning. Requirements: an advanced degree (Masters level) in project management, environmental science, economics, development, business or a related discipline; a minimum of 7 years of experience in project/programme management in environment and natural resource management; 4 years of proven success as lead manager/coordinator of a large-scale project; experience in MEL plans and social/environmental safeguards; experience with inter-governmental and non-governmental organizations in a Latin American context; and experience managing multicultural teams. This is a Locally Recruited Position (LRS) based in Lima, Peru, with an initial two-year appointment including a six-month probationary period.
