One Acre Fund seeks a procurement professional to lead fertilizer procurement, ensuring cost-efficient sourcing and reliable on-time delivery. The role focuses on deep-dive data analysis to determine optimal purchasing windows and managing the entire procurement process independently. Responsibilities include supporting seasonal procurement strategies to deliver 90%+ on-time-in-full delivery, market-competitive costs, and year-on-year cost savings; ensuring quality control and on-time supplier payments; proactively addressing supply gaps by evaluating farmer needs against market trends, supplier capacity, and inventory levels; driving lead-time improvements and process automation; developing and maintaining Google Sheets data models to track market trends and landed costs; building partnerships with fertilizer suppliers and industry organizations; representing One Acre Fund externally; and managing and mentoring a small team including staffing and performance reviews. Candidates should have solid foundational knowledge of global procurement, international shipping, and supply chain operations; advanced proficiency in Google Sheets for pricing and forecasting models; fluency in English; strong collaboration and negotiation skills; and proven project management ability.
