IDA is an independent non-governmental organization providing medical and humanitarian assistance to people affected by conflicts, natural disasters, and epidemics regardless of race, religion, gender, or political affiliation. The organisation is seeking a Specialized Doctor (Pediatrician) for its Programs Department, based at Abu Khashab PHC in Northern Deir Alzoor Countryside. Key responsibilities: provide competent pediatric services within the administrative schedule set by the health coordinator; supervise implementation of and compliance with national and international treatment protocols by all doctors; respond to emergencies and organize center operations, providing necessary information and documentation on further treatment; participate in vaccination campaigns assigned by the health coordinator; contribute to preparation of weekly and monthly reports and other reports as required; participate in training and mentoring medical and nursing staff; take part in daily medical rounds and weekly coordination meetings, adopting approved minute-taking templates; report to the health coordinator and program coordinator on any difficulties, security concerns, risk of infectious disease spread, or other relevant information; maintain patient rights, dignity, and confidentiality; perform other duties within their expertise as assigned by the medical director; follow instructions of the medical director or, in their absence, another authorized staff member; strictly adhere to humanitarian principles and standards, protection policies, code of conduct, and PSEA and child protection policies. Required qualifications: specialized pediatrician; minimum seven years of experience including specialization period; computer skills (Microsoft applications).
