WeMove Europe is a community united by a vision of a better Europe, running campaigns that empower citizens to influence decision-makers at the European level. They are seeking a Dutch-speaking Digital Campaigner to lead fast-paced digital campaigns on issues from the cost-of-living crisis to environmental concerns, combining strategic thinking with hands-on digital execution.
Key responsibilities include identifying and leading European campaign opportunities, writing compelling copy for email and social media, tailoring communications and fundraising messages to the Dutch context, managing the Dutch member community using online campaigning tools (currently ActionKit), building partnerships with Dutch and EU-wide NGOs and movements, and fundraising from individual donors in the Netherlands. The role also involves creating engaging audiovisual content and occasional national/EU travel for team meetings and offline actions such as petition handovers.
Candidates should be native or fluent (C2) Dutch speakers able to translate from English, fluent in English, comfortable with digital tools and data-driven decision-making, and have some experience in non-partisan political campaigning. A strong understanding of the Dutch political and social context is required. Bonus skills include digital fundraising, digital marketing, statistics/data analytics, EU political system knowledge, and additional European languages.
This is a one-year fixed-term contract (with a view to permanent transition), full or part time, remote within WeMove Europe's registered operating countries, with a preferred start date of November 2026.
