CBM is an international development organisation committed to improving the quality of life of persons with disabilities worldwide. We are looking for an experienced Senior Portfolio Manager to provide strategic leadership and oversight across CBM's multi-country NTD donor portfolio. The role works across country programmes and global teams to strengthen portfolio performance, ensure effective grant management and donor compliance, oversee financial and operational risk, and build relationships with institutional donors and partners. Responsibilities include leading grant management and donor compliance quality assurance, overseeing sub-award management and portfolio-wide compliance monitoring, monitoring portfolio performance and budget utilisation, managing donor relationships, contributing to donor stewardship and resource mobilisation, coordinating grant compliance across country teams, and supporting country programmes with an initial focus on the RLMF portfolio. This position is only filled locally in one of CBM's permanent established entities (e.g. Berlin or Bensheim Germany, UK, US, Nairobi Kenya, Abuja Nigeria, Lome Togo, Yaounde Cameroon, Lusaka Zambia, Addis Ababa Ethiopia, Guatemala City, Kampala Uganda, Niamey Niger, etc.). Local contractual conditions apply; expatriation is not intended. Requirements include a relevant academic degree in international development, public health or a related field; substantial experience in grants management within multi-country donor-funded health or development programmes; experience with institutional donor compliance frameworks; strong knowledge of the NTD landscape and major donors; experience managing sub-award agreements; experience across multiple country offices; strong donor-facing communication skills; and professional proficiency in English and French.
