Location: Sana'a, Yemen
The Community Feedback Mechanism (CFM) is a key component of NRC's commitment to Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP), ensuring communities can safely provide feedback, ask questions, and raise concerns about NRC programmes and services. The CFM Technical Assistant supports implementation of these mechanisms by facilitating safe collection, documentation, and follow-up of feedback, helping ensure community voices inform programme improvements and organisational learning, with a focus on NRC's cash programmes.
Responsibilities include: receiving, recording, processing and responding to community feedback via hotlines, boxes, helpdesks and digital systems; maintaining and cleaning feedback data in NRC's CFM system; ensuring confidentiality and ethical handling of sensitive feedback; providing accurate information to project participants; supporting referrals and follow-up with programme or support staff; monitoring feedback for timely closure; supporting filing and archiving of CFM reports; supporting awareness sessions with communities and staff; answering hotline calls, emails and social media/SMS messages; translating and supporting communication with community members; conducting spot checks on feedback mechanisms; forwarding sensitive feedback (e.g. misconduct, protection, health/safety) to relevant entities immediately.
Qualifications: 1-2 years of relevant experience in accountability, MEAL, community engagement, or protection; Bachelor's Degree or relevant vocational training; knowledge of CEA, PSEA, child safeguarding and the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS); good spoken and written English; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
