The Africa Regional Hub Lead will provide overall leadership of Team4Tech's Africa Regional Hub, an impact accelerator supporting community-based education NGOs. The role requires defining and driving regional strategy, translating it into annual workplans, and building a cohesive, high-performing regional team through direct management of staff and contractors. The Lead serves as Team4Tech's senior representative with Ministries of Education, donors, sector networks, and private-sector partners, and ensures programmatic activities including NGO cohort trainings are delivered on time and grounded in evidence. The role also carries substantial leadership for funded initiatives such as multi-country AI capacity development programming involving cascade training with Ministries of Education, and contributes to organizational M&E and thought leadership through publications and conference presentations.
Requirements: advanced degree in international education, international development, education technology, public policy, or related field; 15+ years progressive leadership experience in international development, education, or workforce development programming in sub-Saharan Africa; demonstrated experience managing multi-country or multi-partner programs and consortium structures; experience designing cascade/trainer-of-trainer models with Ministries of Education; strong budget and grant management experience; fluent English required, French or Portuguese a plus. This is a local hire position based in Nairobi, Kenya, remote-first, with 30-35% regional travel within Africa. Salary range KES 650,000-800,000 monthly.
