CBM (registered as CBM Christoffel-Blindenmission Christian Blind Mission e.V.) is an international development organisation committed to improving the quality of life of persons with disabilities in the poorest communities of the world. Based on Christian values and more than 100 years of professional expertise, CBM addresses poverty as a cause and a consequence of disability, working in partnership to create an inclusive society for all. To keep pace with growth, CBM is looking for an OPD Humanitarian Programme Intern. The position is 40h/week and is filled locally under contractual conditions of Cameroon; expatriation is not intended.

Responsibilities: Support external activities by carrying out evaluations, drafting terms of reference (ToR), and making recommendations for decision-making; contribute to the consolidation of the Leave No One Behind 4 detailed implementation plans for the Platform Inclusive Society for Persons with Disabilities (Yaounde) and the Coordinating Unit of Associations of Persons with Disabilities (Bamenda); assist the project coordinator with implementing field activities; assist in scheduling external activities and evaluations, including ToR development and evaluation coordination; support the Humanitarian team in coordinating humanitarian programmes in close co-operation with OPDs; ensure documentation of Leave No One Behind 4 project learnings and outcomes; support monitoring of humanitarian project progress, priorities and deadlines; and support logistics arrangements for trips, meetings, evaluations and learning events.

Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Program Management, Project Management, Development Studies, Monitoring and Evaluation Studies); 0-1 year of verifiable experience in a similar role or office environment, INGO experience an advantage; solid organizational skills and attention to detail; effective team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills; analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills; ability to prioritise and work under pressure to tight deadlines; ability to handle information confidentially; English or French professional proficiency; computer literacy with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); some knowledge of data management software; willingness to commit and adhere to CBM's values and Child Safeguarding Policies.
