About Etijah: Youth and Development Consultancy Institute – Etijah is a non-profit organization specializing in developing, improving, and disseminating development methodologies in youth and community development. Based in Cairo, Etijah creates and tailors up-to-date development methodologies, research tools, applicable practices of youth development, and training delivery models, and contributes to building the capacity of governmental and non-governmental youth-serving organizations.
Background: Etijah is implementing the Bedayat Livelihoods Programme to support refugees, asylum seekers, and vulnerable host-community members in Greater Cairo to access sustainable livelihood opportunities. Etijah's Economic Empowerment Department seeks a qualified service provider to design and deliver a One-Day Social Cohesion event for 250 refugees and Egyptians in Greater Cairo, promoting social cohesion through participatory activities, cultural sharing, team-building exercises, and dialogue.
Expected deliverables: detailed event plan and agenda; implementation of the one-day event; cultural exchange activities; a facilitated dialogue and awareness session; documentation of the event (attendance records, photographs with consent, participant feedback); a post-event feedback/evaluation tool; and an event completion report. A dedicated Job Fair component will connect refugee and Egyptian participants with employers, including employer mobilization, recruitment booths, job-seeker registration, CV submission, short interviews, and networking, with deliverables covering employer lists, vacancies, CVs submitted, and candidates referred or shortlisted. The event must be implemented in line with safeguarding and protection policies, ensuring safe and inclusive participation, prevention of discrimination and harassment, respect for privacy and dignity, and appropriate consent for photography.
Eligibility (organizations): registered legal entity in Egypt; capacity to deliver high-quality events and reporting; commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and gender-sensitive programming. The technical proposal must include an organizational or consultant profile, relevant experience and previous similar assignments, proposed methodology and implementation approach, and a detailed workplan and timeline. The financial proposal must include a detailed budget breakdown, cost per participant, trainers and facilitation fees, training material and logistical costs, and any additional operational costs. All costs must be submitted in EGP and inclusive of all applicable taxes.
