Are you a Business Analyst with a passion for designing impactful workflows and enabling real change in the banking sector? Join the EBRD Transformation and Design team and help shape the future of how the Bank delivers value through its investment projects. You will be part of the Chief Transformation Office Group. The Bank is looking for a Business Analyst to support a high-impact initiative focused on rethinking and redesigning critical workflows that underpin the Bank's investment activities - and, crucially, linking these to how impact is measured in the economies where the Bank invests. You will work closely with colleagues in Banking, Impact, Risk and other functions to gather, analyse and refine business and technical requirements, focusing on end-to-end process redesign within an Agile squad of experienced developers, designers and fellow analysts that is part of a larger global programme, with a user-centric focus on alleviating pressure points for bankers.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities: Work on 1-2 projects as PM/BA on a small project or as BA alongside product owners, SMEs, business stakeholders and other IT disciplines; investigate, capture and prioritise business requirements using Agile techniques; capture new technology request outlines and help formulate supporting business cases for funding; engage stakeholders through interviews, workshops and focus groups; ensure requirements sign-off; perform end-to-end business process analysis to understand change impact; assess data sets and evaluate differences and bottlenecks; promote Agile principles; implement and maintain requirements traceability through sprints; contribute to team best practice; support testing, business readiness and adoption of functionality as it is incrementally deployed to production. Work alongside the Product Owner, Capability Lead and other capability leads as a Scrum BA where agreed with the relevant D&T Principal. Stay up to date with market and industry trends via internal learning and external events.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications: Relevant degree or equivalent experience gained in Financial Services, Corporate/Investment Banking or a relevant Group-level function; Prince 2 Agile, Lean/Six Sigma, Business Analysis or SCRUM certifications an advantage; relevant experience conducting Agile business analysis; experience formulating business cases/ROI; sound knowledge of the IT project delivery lifecycle and development processes; understanding of banking processes a distinct advantage; proven track record delivering innovative IT initiatives; strong analytical skills with understanding of process documentation and data analysis; ability to develop deep business knowledge; confidence working with Product Owners, SMEs, business stakeholders and IT disciplines; diligent and conscientious approach to deadlines and quality; user-centric mindset.
