Location: Mexico or Trinidad and Tobago (preferred), Regional (Americas and Caribbean)
This position is specifically designed to represent youth perspectives and participation within the Youth Network. Candidates must be 25 years of age or younger from the date of hire, reflecting the representative purpose of the role and the definition of 'youth' applicable to the programme.
Context: a role for young people to work in IPPF's secretariat, anticipated as a 3-year contract. Working with the Regional Team to bring direct involvement of youth and build regional and global platforms for youth activism and youth-led accountability; working with other Youth Networkers and regional youth networks to build a global Youth IPPF community; championing youth-centred action within the Secretariat; supporting Member Associations to develop youth networks and foster youth-centric programming.
Deliverables: organise youth action so the region has an inclusive IPPF youth network; support Regional Youth Networks; advise on youth participation within the region and Member Associations; contribute to inclusion of youth perspective in advocacy, workshop design, and communications.
Location: Regional, Americas and the Caribbean, preference for Mexico or Trinidad and Tobago. Contract: 3 years fixed term, 3-month probation. Salary: Mexico MXN$363,223-490,352; Trinidad and Tobago TTD$229,212-275,052 (annual gross, location-based).
