CPJ is hiring a Researcher - Western and Northern Europe (WNE) to join its Europe and Central Asia program, monitoring, researching, documenting, and responding to attacks on the press and issues impacting press freedom in the region; supporting regional strategy, expert analysis, public representation, and journalism assistance efforts. Hired via an Employer of Record, based in the Europe/Central Asia region.
Required: minimum 5 years' experience researching, reporting, and publishing on global human rights and politics (or equivalent in advocacy/humanitarian assistance); strong understanding of Europe/Central Asia media and human rights issues; excellent English writing skills; proficiency in another relevant language; significant experience working with governments/policymakers.
Compensation: UK reference range 45,700 - 51,500 GBP, based on candidate location.
