The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Public and Municipal Renewable Energy Efficiency Project (PUMREP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The General Directorate of Construction Affairs (GDCA) of the Ministry will serve as the main implementing agency for Components 1, 3a and 4a of the project. The overall objective of the Project is to increase the use of renewable energy (RE) through self-generation in public facilities. The implementation period for the project is 5 years. The consulting service includes the hiring of a full-time Procurement Expert (Ref: PUMREP/WB/IND-PE-03R) to support the GDCA's Project Implementation Unit. The selected consultant is expected to be awarded a one-year renewable contract. The General Directorate of Construction Affairs invites eligible individual consultants to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The attention of interested consultants is drawn to paragraphs 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank's Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (November 2020) setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest. Consultants will be selected in accordance with the Approved Selection Methods for Individual Consultants set out in the Procurement Regulations.
