NPH Belgium is the fundraising office of the international NPH network, which provides vulnerable children in Latin America and Haiti with a safe home, education, health care, and nutrition, while also supporting families in surrounding communities. Established in 1994, NPH Belgium raises funds to support NPH's children's villages and community programmes across the region. To strengthen its long-term financial sustainability, the Board is seeking to develop a more structured and strategic corporate sponsorship function.
Purpose of role: The Corporate Sponsorship Lead will build and lead NPH Belgium's corporate sponsorship function, developing sustainable new income streams, strengthening corporate engagement, and contributing to the diversification of the organisation's funding base. This is a strategic and hands-on role requiring both relationship-building and implementation. The postholder will shape the function, establish processes, develop a pipeline of prospects, and secure meaningful corporate partnerships, with regular interaction with the Board.
Primary responsibilities: Develop and execute a corporate sponsorship strategy; identify, approach, and cultivate prospective corporate partners; create persuasive partnership propositions; manage the full partnership cycle from prospecting to stewardship; build and maintain a robust pipeline; secure partnerships providing financial support and wider value. Establish and grow a structured, sustainable corporate sponsorship pillar and contribute to a diversified, resilient income model. Work closely with the Executive Director, office team, and Board, and represent NPH Belgium at meetings, events, and networking opportunities.
Profile: A solid track record in corporate partnerships, sponsorship, fundraising, business development, or senior relationship management; demonstrated success in securing meaningful partnerships with corporate stakeholders; hands-on exposure to the NGO, charity, foundation, or purpose-driven sector; senior/leadership background; credibility engaging at executive level. Fluency in English and Dutch or French is essential; Spanish is an advantage. Knowledge of CSR, ESG frameworks, or cause-related marketing is welcome. Terms: Brussels-based with hybrid working, full-time preferred, permanent contract, salary dependent on experience.
