Seeking an exceptional government relations professional with 2+ years of experience to strengthen One Acre Fund's relationships with provincial authorities in Kongo Central and ensure full compliance with local regulations. The position represents the government relations department before provincial and local authorities in meetings, invitations and working sessions.

Responsibilities: Ensure all OAF operations comply with provincial and local regulations — communicate and escalate requests and requirements from provincial/local authorities in a timely manner; follow up on requests for authorizations, approvals, permits and other documents needed to conduct OAF operations locally; assess and alert management to compliance risks and propose mitigation measures. Draft reports and manage OAF's official documents; support other departments in their interactions with provincial and local authorities; prepare reports, minutes and records of all interactions; archive and retain authorizations, approvals, permits and other official documents received. Support the design of local staff training and the organization of official activities with provincial and local authorities; draft analyses on the state of local government relations; identify training needs and contribute to developing modules for local OAF staff; coordinate official meetings and visits; ensure implementation and follow-up of institutional communication and outreach activities with local stakeholders.

Required: Proficiency in office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for drafting, reporting, tracking tables and presentations; strong logistical organization skills (scheduling, coordinating meetings, calendar management); ability to draft administrative and official documents. Solid understanding of the legal, administrative and regulatory framework applicable to NGOs/development organizations at provincial and local level; knowledge of procedures for obtaining and following up authorizations, approvals and permits; notions of monitoring-evaluation; good practice in institutional relations management and stakeholder communication.
