We are seeking an Associate to join our Global Markets Advisory team in London. This is a dual-sided role: approximately half focused on team strategy and support across EMEA and beyond, and half dedicated to new business, prospecting, and pipeline development for Eurasia Group's institutional client base.
Team Support and Strategy responsibilities:
- Coordinate travel budgets and logistics for the Global Markets team.
- Produce and maintain high-quality presentations, spreadsheets, and PowerPoints supporting senior leadership decision-making.
- Plan, set up, and support client events and engagements across European, Asian, and Middle Eastern markets.
- Collaborate with analysts, strategy teams, and all pillars of the firm.
Business Development responsibilities:
- Conduct targeted sales research to identify and expand the institutional pipeline across EMEA, segmenting prospects by asset type (Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Pension Funds, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Investment Banks).
- Design and execute email campaigns and outreach initiatives tailored to specific client sectors.
- Proactively engage potential clients as ambassador for EG's political risk advisory offering.
- Develop strong understanding of Eurasia Group's research and advisory products and how political risk fits into client investment processes.
- Support senior team members in building strategic account plans and new business pipeline tracking.
Required qualifications:
- Up to 2 years of experience in financial markets, institutional sales, advisory, or consulting; recent graduates with strong internship track records encouraged to apply.
- Some exposure to global financial markets and familiarity with institutional investor types preferred.
- Background or demonstrated interest in Emerging Markets, EMEA geopolitics, FX, or fixed income.
- Proactive mindset, intellectual curiosity, and genuine enthusiasm for developing new relationships.
- Strong organisational skills; proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, LinkedIn, and Bloomberg.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Work authorisation for the UK is mandatory.
