Make your next job one with purpose:

Do you believe in a world where everyone has a safe place to call home?

We are not just another nonprofit. We are part of a global humanitarian movement, working every day to support people forced to flee war, conflict, and persecution. And we need passionate people like you to expand our impact.

What you will do:
This role focuses on the technical ownership and implementation of digital platforms and automated journeys, ensuring their effective and reliable execution across systems.

As CH4U’s Digital Product Owner, you will ensure that supporters-facing digital platforms are technically robust, well-integrated and scalable, supporting the Foundation’s fundraising and awareness goals.

You will lead the technical implementation of conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and experimentation frameworks, enabling the effective execution of testing and optimization initiatives across platforms.
You will ensure that automated journeys are properly set up, integrated and functioning across channels (digital and offline), translating business requirements into reliable technical workflows and monitoring their execution over time.

You will also lead the technical implementation of conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and experimentation frameworks, enabling testing and continuous improvement of digital performance. Reporting to the Head of Supporter Engagement, you will work collaboratively and support the rest of the Individual Giving team as well as the Communications team to ensure they can deploy marketing and communications campaigns leveraging the full potential of digital tools and platforms and monitoring and maximizing performance. You will also collaborate closely with relevant specialists within the Private Sector Partnerships (PSP) Service at UNHCR headquarters and with peers in other markets.

Your main tasks include, but are not restricted to:
• Act as Product Owner for the website (Drupal CMS), e-commerce platforms, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (email and journey orchestration platform):
o Oversee and continuously improve donation flows, campaign pages, emails dataset, and forms.
o Manage and optimize donation pages, ensure scalability and performance, identify areas for UX improvement, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for testing and enhancements.
o Coordinate closely with the external development agencies for ongoing maintenance, bug fixing, and implementation of new features.
• Develop and oversee strategy for conversion rate optimisation (CRO), including A/B testing frameworks and multivariate testing with Optimizely, heatmapping, and behavioural web analytics to continuously improve performance.
• Serve as Product Owner for Google Analytics and digital analytics tools: oversee tracking implementation, reporting, and insights to optimize user journeys and conversions. Oversee coherence and maintenance of all vanity and tracking links across the organization. Train marketing teams in UTM usage.
• Lead on UX design and supporter journey improvements, providing strategic guidance to communications and marketing teams and ensuring supporter-facing platforms are intuitive and frictionless.
• The role translates business-defined lead and donor journeys into technical workflows across platforms (website, Marketing Cloud email, marketing automation and CRM integrations), ensuring their consistent and reliable execution from acquisition through to retention. It involves:
o Setting up and managing automated journeys, including triggers, data flows and personalisation rules, while ensuring seamless cross-channel orchestration;
o Leveraging data, testing frameworks and emerging AI capabilities to enhance automation, segmentation and personalization at scale;
o Monitoring and troubleshooting journey performance, proactively addressing errors, delays and data inconsistencies to maintain a high-quality supporter experience.
• Remain flexible and quickly respond to emergency situations, supporting digital set up of emergency campaigns and develop relevant journeys as needed, collaborating with colleagues from the IG team and across the organisation.
• Manage relationships with key external vendors. This will include developing project briefs, ongoing communication and appropriate follow-up, to ensure strong relationships.
• Stay up to date with digital best practices, emerging technologies, and sector trends, and apply learnings from training and professional development to continuously improve digital activities
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies, including GDPR.

What You bring:

• Strong knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CRM integrations, and cross-platform data flows
• Proven experience in CRO and experimentation tools (e.g., Optimizely), UX analytics, and behavioural tracking
• Interest and practical understanding of AI applications in marketing automation, segmentation, and personalisation
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance, and to influence, train, and support internal teams to drive adoption of digital tools and processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear and systematic thinking
