The role

ICC Asia is looking for one project implementation intern in Singapore to support its work with the Digital Standards Initiative.

The Digital Standards Initiative - within ICC Asia in Singapore - aims to digitalise global trade by promoting regulatory reform and harmonised digital trade standards, which support businesses to make the move from analogue to digital in their trade and supply chains.

About the role

Your key responsibilities will include:
* Contribute to DSI by assisting in the implementation and operation support of ongoing projects that enable the adoption of digital trade standards and practices worldwide. Such projects could cover any or all of the following action areas:
* Operationalising digital trade standards, by supporting pilots or proofs-of-concepts with various industry stakeholders and drafting the reports which communicate the impact and potential of such initiatives.
* Analysing and mapping the use of data used in digital trade documentation for sustainability and supply chain carbon emissions accounting;
* Development of digital supply chain readiness and assessment programmes through working with industry leaders, standards organizations and others on training and assessment materials.
* The diverse audiences that we seek to engage and inspire include corporates, industry associations, technology solution providers, governments and inter-government organisations.

Requirements

Do not hesitate to apply if you:

* Singaporean, Permanent Resident or exchange students with permission to work in Singapore
* Interns are required to handle their own travel and accommodation arrangements for the duration of their internship. ICC does not provide scholarships or fellowships
* BA, BS or MBA candidate or graduate with an interest in digital economy, sustainability, trade and supply chain
* Previous work experience (could be internship, summer job, or other experiences) in a bank, professional services organisation, law office, or anywhere along the supply chain (factory, port, etc.) would be an asset
* Good English communications skills - oral, written - and in various formats (e.g., argument, bullet point / presentation, essay)

* Based at our office in Singapore.
* You must have the right to work in Singapore or qualify for a Training Employment Pass or Work Holiday Visa.
