The Individual Giving Team at Age International leads the recruitment of new UK donors and builds long-term relationships with supporters. Funds raised enable partners to deliver community projects for older people across the world and support them in humanitarian crises.

Location: Hybrid home/office (London EC3). Contract: Permanent. Hours: 35 per week. Salary: £38,686 to £42,759 per year.

In this role, you will primarily implement and manage projects which inspire more people to donate to Age International for the first time, playing a key role in long-term income generation plans. The role is varied, with good development opportunities. As the Individual Giving strategy develops, you will be involved in new projects and initiatives across channels such as telemarketing, digital and face-to-face fundraising through private sites. You will have day-to-day ownership of campaign delivery and performance, working closely with the Direct Marketing Manager - Acquisition to optimise activity and contribute to the future supporter acquisition strategy.

Must haves:
- Proven successful experience in a direct marketing role.
- Delivered and managed effective supporter or customer acquisition campaigns.
- Worked across digital direct marketing channels including Meta and/or Google.
- Worked across at least one offline channel: events, direct mail, face-to-face or telemarketing.
- Experience managing internal and external stakeholders, including copy and artwork sign off.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to write compelling direct marketing copy.
- Good campaign management, numerical and analytical skills.
- Experience with online content management platforms to edit and manage website content.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Commitment to making a positive difference for older people in low and middle-income countries.
- Share the charity's values to be ambitious, purposeful, a brilliant partner and to 'build each other up'.
- A collaborative team player.

Great to haves:
- Direct marketing experience within a charity.
- Experience working with budgets to forecast and monitor income and expenditure.
- Experience with email marketing campaigns and platforms such as DotDigital.
- Experience with a CRM system such as MS Dynamics or similar.
- Ability to analyse and report on results and make recommendations.
