Ipas works globally to improve access to safe abortion and contraception across Africa, Asia and Latin America. The Responsable de Compras (Procurement Officer) strengthens the operations of Ipas LAC by managing assigned procurement processes efficiently, transparently and on time, ensuring institutional resources are used optimally and purchases comply with value and compliance criteria. Location: open to Latin America (the Americas). Monthly salary: 20,000–25,000 MXN gross. Full time.

Key responsibilities: manage purchase requests and ensure they are complete and aligned with local regulations and Ipas Network policies; request supplier quotations and prepare comparisons to select the best option; prepare purchase orders, contracts and related documents for both the Mexico and US entities; follow up on deliveries and supplier compliance; process amendments, scope changes and adjustments to purchase orders, contracts and Workday records; review invoices and supporting documents for fiscal validity and coordinate payments with Finance (Mexico and US); maintain records and traceability in institutional systems; support the Procurement Coordination with supplier evaluations, reporting and audit preparation; ensure compliance with institutional and applicable local policies.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or related field. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in procurement, acquisitions or similar administrative functions; experience in document management and fiscal compliance. Desirable: experience in NGOs, international organisations or the health sector; purchase orders, simple contracts and quotation processes; national and international procurement including medical supplies, services and consultancies; ERP or procurement systems. Basic-intermediate English (desirable). Intermediate-advanced Excel; handling of fiscal documents and invoice validation. Results orientation, time management, effective communication and teamwork.
