Under the direct line management of the Economic Recovery Team Leader, this role serves as the primary focal point for communication with programme participants to ensure effective implementation of Economic Recovery activities. The Economic Recovery Assistant serves as receptionist at DRC's livelihoods center in Hatay province and provides intake sessions to enroll people of concern in the programme, supporting Economic Recovery Officers on wage employment, private sector engagement, and self-employment/venture support. Duties include conducting wage and self-employment intake sessions with refugee and host community members, sharing feedback on intake trends, conducting quality follow-up sessions, capturing protection and safety risks for referrals, maintaining documentation, engaging in outreach activities with local NGOs and private sector contacts, supporting monitoring visits and FGDs, and ensuring MEAL requirements are met. Requires an undergraduate degree in business management, economics, finance, social science or related field; minimum 1 year practical experience in economic recovery/livelihoods with an INGO; experience with individual vulnerability/capacity assessments; experience working with displaced populations (preferably in Southern Turkey); strong knowledge of Hatay's local labour market; fluency in Turkish and Arabic required, English an asset. Contract length: 6 months (Maternity Cover), Band I – Non-Manager, based in Hatay Office, start date 01.11.2026.
