Deliver confidential, survivor-centred GBV case management in Ayod and support the GBV Case Worker Assistant to provide safe, consistent services, helping survivors make informed choices and access appropriate support through coordinated referrals and follow-up. Responsibilities include managing an agreed caseload using approved procedures (engagement, informed consent, assessment, safety and action planning, referrals, follow-up and case closure); explaining confidentiality and its limits; providing supportive listening and basic psychosocial support; facilitating timely access to health, mental health, legal and other services; recognizing urgent safety concerns and escalating appropriately; working with adolescent survivors using appropriate consent and best-interest procedures; providing daily technical guidance to the assistant and escalating complex cases to a qualified supervisor; maintaining referral contacts and safe contact methods; coordinating with GBV/child-protection and prevention colleagues without sharing identifiable case information; keeping case records secure using approved systems; and reporting aggregated service information while following safeguarding, PSEA and Code of Conduct requirements. Requirements: degree in social work, psychology, social sciences or related field (relevant diploma with substantial experience may be considered); at least two years of relevant GBV response or protection experience including direct survivor-centred case management; demonstrated competence in GBV case management, informed consent, safety planning, confidential documentation and safe referrals; experience working with women and adolescent girls in humanitarian settings; ability to mentor an assistant; competence in MS Word, Excel and email; willingness to travel to remote locations under approved security arrangements; strong working English, fluency in a local language (Nuer an advantage).
