MEAL Data Closeout and Evidence Consultant - CORN Project
Location: Jakarta / Surabaya / Sumba Barat Daya, Indonesia
Save the Children Indonesia, in partnership with Cargill, is implementing the CORN Project across maize farming communities in Indonesia using a Market System Development approach. As the project approaches its closeout phase, Save the Children Indonesia seeks a MEAL Data Closeout and Evidence Consultant to work with the REALM Specialist and CORN Project team during the final months of the project. Duration: 4 months, October 2026 to January 2027. Reporting to REALM Specialist/CORN Project Manager. Scope of work includes: consolidating and cleaning monitoring data from project data sources, standardizing formats and indicator definitions, verifying data against source documents and field evidence, preparing a data verification report, compiling and labeling supporting evidence (photographs, attendance records, meeting notes, case studies), ensuring data privacy compliance, preparing a data dictionary, compiling a Final Data Package for handover, supporting closeout documentation and donor reporting, and coordinating with project staff and partners. Deliverables include a cleaned dataset, verification report, organized evidence package, data dictionary, Final Data Package, handover record, monthly progress updates, and a signed Data Closure Checklist. Required qualifications: minimum 2-4 years of experience in MEAL, data management, or data quality assurance; experience with monitoring data in agriculture, livelihoods, or rural development programs; strong data handling skills using SharePoint, Excel, Google Sheets, KOBO, or similar tools; experience verifying data against source documents; understanding of data protection principles; strong organizational and communication skills; willingness to travel to project locations if required.
