Handicap International / Humanité & Inclusion (HI) is an independent and impartial international solidarity organisation working in situations of poverty, exclusion, conflict and disaster alongside persons with disabilities and vulnerable populations. Since 1982 it has run development programmes in more than 60 countries.
Context: Within the finance department at HI's headquarters in Lyon, you join the Headquarters and National Associations (NA) Management Control Service, which supports directorates and national associations in financial, budgetary and analytical steering. The service produces financial reporting, consolidates network data, monitors financial risks and continuously improves management tools and processes. The team has 8 members (7 in Lyon, 1 in Luxembourg) with an international scope (interactions with the United States and Germany).
Role objectives: Combine and analyse accounting, financial, budgetary and analytical information from the HI network entities.
- Financial production and reliability: ensure consistency, reconciliation and traceability of data to produce combined financial statements (CROD, CER) for governance, auditors and stakeholders.
- Management control and steering: monitor budgets, analyse variances and risks for a portfolio of directorates and National Associations, and advise managers in decision-making.
- Data and systems: oversee financial data quality and optimise use of the department's Business Intelligence tools and Data Warehouse.
Requirements: Master's degree (Master 2) in finance, management control or audit. Solid command of finance, accounting, management control and consolidation. Advanced Excel and a data visualisation tool (ideally Power BI). Ability to structure data, formalise management rules, automate reporting, and understand ERP, Data Warehouse and data governance environments. Rigour, analytical mind, communication skills. Fluent French and fluent English (written and oral) required.
