Location: Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo
PATH, a global health nonprofit, seeks a Senior Consultant to support its growing portfolio in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Central Africa region. The consultant will serve as a senior coordination and portfolio oversight resource across PATH's DRC health programs, supporting communication, stakeholder engagement, risk identification, and portfolio monitoring. Key responsibilities include providing technical advisory support to the interim DRC Country Director and the Ministry of Health, particularly on time-sensitive health funding applications; supporting project-specific engagements with the MOH including projects such as FAST, SAFEStart+, MACEPA, and CDC TAP; maintaining a stakeholder and touchpoint database; and producing program updates, briefing notes, and position papers for global health funding moments (Global Fund, Gavi, GFF, World Bank). Requirements: advanced degree in Public Health, Health Policy, Health Economics, Medicine, International Development, or related field (Master's required, doctoral preferred); 10-15 years of progressively responsible experience in health systems strengthening or donor-funded programs in the DRC and/or Central Africa; demonstrated experience working with Ministries of Health, government institutions, and donor agencies; familiarity with major global health financing mechanisms; professional fluency in French required, English strongly preferred. This is a consulting engagement, with travel to DRC funded for the contract duration (e.g., 3 months).
