Atlas Logistique is an operational unit of Handicap International (HI) that has supported humanitarian actors since 1993, facilitating, optimizing and accelerating the delivery of aid in emergency and chronic crisis contexts. Within a team of 19 staff, the Project Development Officer reports to the Development Unit Manager. Responsibilities include contributing to the drafting of project proposals (supporting the field team or Atlas Direction as needed), coordinating contributions from the Atlas HQ Deployment and Technical units, participating in or facilitating kick-off meetings for project writing exercises and ensuring the retroplanning is respected, and archiving working and final versions of proposals and funding contracts, as well as updating the CRM tool. Depending on workload, the role may also involve preparing reports, communication/promotion of Atlas Logistique activities (internally and externally, including creating posts and project sheets), and participating in donor meetings. Required skills: excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), excellent organisational skills, excellent level of French and English, proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and genuine experience in writing humanitarian project proposals and donor submissions, concept notes, and cross-cutting approaches (climate, gender, etc.). Contract: 3-month fixed-term (CDD), possible extension subject to new secured funding. Salary from 25K gross/year, 39 hours/week.
