VVOB – education for development is an international non-profit organisation with over 40 years' experience strengthening the quality of education systems in Africa, Asia and South America in close partnership with ministries of education. We are looking for a Multimedia/Graphic Designer to work from our Global Office in Nairobi, Kenya. The role is part of VVOB's Global Office communication team, reporting to the Global Director of Engagement & Communication, and working closely with the Storyteller and Digital Media Advisor in Brussels and Nairobi, as well as colleagues across the Programme and Operations Departments. Responsibilities include developing publications, visual assets and multimedia content; designing print and digital communication materials such as technical briefs, reports, presentations, event materials, infographics and social media assets; producing video edits, animations and audiovisual assets; supporting the Storyteller and Digital Media Advisor with visual products; managing visual assets including the photo database, templates and design resources; updating the website with visual and multimedia content; ensuring efficient design workflows; and providing quality assurance on externally produced design work. Requirements: a university degree in graphic design, animation, multimedia production, digital design, motion graphics, creative technologies, visual communication or related field, or equivalent experience; minimum three years' professional experience in print and digital design with a portfolio; proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (especially InDesign), with photo/video editing skills desirable (Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro); experience using Canva; excellent MS Office skills; experience applying brand guidelines; strong organisational and asset management skills; fluency in English; and legal authorisation to work in Kenya. Offer includes a full-time contract of indefinite duration and a complete remuneration package with base salary ranging from KES 171,600 to KES 284,542 depending on seniority.
