Based at SEARCA Headquarters, UPLB Campus, College, Los Baños 4031, Laguna, Philippines, within the Treasury Services Unit. Regular position.
Job Summary: Reporting to the Treasury Services Unit Head, the Specialist, Treasury supports cash and liquidity management, monitoring of investment earnings, payment processing, and banking transactions. The position requires good analytical and decision-making skills, resourcefulness, initiative, and effective coordination with banks, financial institutions, and internal units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitors interest earned from all investments and maintains related schedules and records.
- Prepares and submits summaries of investment earnings for coordination and reconciliation with the Accounting Unit.
- Monitors bank balances, cash inflows and outflows, and daily, weekly, and monthly liquidity requirements.
- Prepares cash position, cash forecast, and reconciliation reports.
- Coordinates with banks and internal units on fund transfers, payments, cash requirements, and other treasury transactions.
- Processes payment vouchers, Letters of Instruction (LOIs), reimbursements, cash advances, and other treasury transactions.
- Records incoming payments in SAP and facilitates the issuance of official receipts and acknowledgement letters.
- Performs other related functions as may be assigned by the Unit Head.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in treasury, cash management, banking, finance, or related operations, preferably with accounting experience.
