The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is a treaty-based international, inter-governmental organization dedicated to supporting and promoting strong, inclusive and sustainable economic growth in developing countries and emerging economies. The Department of Partnerships, Governance, and Communications (DPGC), under the Executive Director's Office (EDO), focuses on expanding GGGI's strategic partnerships with governments, international organizations, the private sector, philanthropic organizations, NGOs, and other development actors, seeks funding opportunities from diverse donors, handles GGGI's membership process, manages board affairs (Assembly, Council, Advisory Committee and MPSC Members), and raises the organization's profile through communications materials and activities.
Position Summary: EDO is seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to DPGC. Reporting to the Director of Partnerships, Governance and Communications, the Senior Assistant will ensure efficient execution of administrative tasks, act as focal point for HR, procurement, finance and general office management, and support meetings, events and logistical arrangements.
Scope of work: provide day-to-day administrative, logistical and operational support (part-time level of effort); coordinate with HR, Finance, IT and Procurement units; prepare, process and track contracts, memos, reports and payment requests; coordinate internal and external meetings including scheduling, agenda preparation, minute-taking and follow-up; maintain the DPGC calendar; provide logistical support for workshops, trainings, conferences and retreats; assist with international travel arrangements for delegates attending governance organ meetings; manage document control, filing and archiving of correspondence, contracts, agreements, MoUs and reports; maintain CRM data and use it to prepare monthly MT and KPI progress reports; update the Donor information SharePoint page monthly (Resource Mobilization pipeline, priority account calls, engagement plans); and schedule priority account calls with account managers.
Qualifications: minimum Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; 1-3 years of relevant experience in administrative or operational support roles; fluency in written and spoken English (good knowledge of Korean desired); proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with administrative systems. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced multicultural environment are required.
Working conditions: G5 grade on GGGI's Republic of Korea salary scale, base salary commencing at USD 42,012 per year (subject to experience, academic background and internal equity). This is a national position without relocation benefits. GGGI provides 15% of base salary towards a retirement plan/long-term savings, 27 days of annual leave, and private health insurance covering dental and vision. Contract type: Staff, 36 months appointment. The chosen candidate is expected to be based in Seoul, Korea.
