Etijah implements enterprise development and employability programmes aimed at improving the economic opportunities, skills, and resilience of targeted communities. The Project Officer will support the effective planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of project activities, ensuring they are delivered on time, within approved scope, and in accordance with Etijah's policies, donor requirements, and programme objectives.
Key responsibilities include coordinating day-to-day implementation of enterprise development and employability activities; overseeing field implementation and team coordination; stakeholder and partnership engagement with community-based organizations, local partners, and service providers; coordinating logistics for trainings, workshops, coaching activities, events, and field visits; supervising project staff, field teams, and volunteers; monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (data collection, beneficiary registration, indicator tracking); and drafting timely activity-specific project and donor reports. The role also covers compliance, safeguarding, and risk management.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in development studies, business administration, economics, social sciences, project management, education, or a related field (postgraduate/professional certification an advantage). Minimum three years of relevant experience in project coordination or programme implementation, preferably in enterprise development, livelihoods, employability, vocational training, or community development. Experience supervising teams and working with donor-funded projects is an advantage. Strong project planning, coordination, report-writing, and MS Office skills required. Fluency in written and spoken Arabic is required; good command of English is required.
