The Equal Justice Academy Assistant provides temporary operational and administrative support to Equality Now's Equal Justice Academy (EJA). Reporting to the Director, Equal Justice Academy, the role supports planning, coordination, and delivery of virtual and in-person learning programs, Leaderful Labs, webinars, and other Academy initiatives.
Appointment Type: Temporary, Short-Term (August – December 2026). Preference given to candidates within ±5 hours of UK (London) time zone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate logistics for virtual and in-person trainings, workshops, webinars, and Leaderful Labs
- Manage participant registration, scheduling, and communications
- Coordinate calendars across multiple international time zones
- Prepare agendas, learning materials, facilitator resources, and meeting documentation
- Maintain participant databases, learning calendars, and project documentation
- Support consultant onboarding, procurement documentation, and administrative processes
- Conduct research on learning platforms, networking tools, and communities of practice
- Serve as primary point of contact for participant inquiries and routine Academy communications
- Track participation, attendance, and completion of Academy activities
- Support compilation of participant feedback, evaluation data, reports, and dashboards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Adult Learning, International Development, Human Rights, Gender Studies, Communications, Public Policy, Business Administration, or related field
- At least two years of relevant experience coordinating learning programs, events, project administration, or operations
- Experience supporting virtual learning programs or online events
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and learning management systems
- Experience in an international NGO or nonprofit organization highly desirable
- Fluency in written and spoken English required; additional language skills desirable
- Knowledge of gender equality, human rights, or international development desirable
Compensation: USD $37,257–$42,642 per annum (prorated for August–December 2026 engagement).
