HRF unites people in the common cause of defending human rights and promoting liberal democracy. HRF produces the Oslo Freedom Forum, an annual human rights conference in Norway.
Job Overview: HRF is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Digital Producer to support the execution of the organization's digital storytelling and content operations. This role works closely with the Digital Marketing Lead to translate strategic priorities into structured, actionable digital plans. The Digital Producer will play a central role in managing HRF's digital content calendar, coordinating cross-functional inputs, and ensuring the smooth execution of campaigns across social media, email, and web channels.
Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day digital execution for HRF and Oslo Freedom Forum (OFF) digital channels; own and manage the HRF and OFF digital content calendar; coordinate with OFF program teams on speakers, sessions, and initiatives; serve as a liaison between program teams and creative partners; coordinate content production workflows; manage internal review and approval processes; support multi-channel campaigns; lead distribution of social video including clipping highlights from events; track campaign performance and compile reports; manage and update website content using CMS platforms; and maintain the organization's photo archive.
Qualifications: 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media, or a related field; strong organizational and project management skills; excellent written and verbal communication; high attention to detail; familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing fundamentals. Experience managing content calendars or approval processes and working on events/conferences is preferred. Experience in nonprofit, media, or advocacy environments and interest in human rights strongly preferred.
Compensation: The salary range for this position is $60,000 – $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus a generous benefits package including fully covered medical, dental, vision, and life insurance and a flexible PTO plan.
