People in Need (PIN) is a Czech-based international NGO providing humanitarian and development assistance across more than 20 countries since 1992, supporting vulnerable communities in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe.

PIN is seeking a highly connected, entrepreneurial and strategic Asia Representative to expand engagement with institutional donors, foundations, philanthropies and influential stakeholders across Asia and the Pacific. This is a senior business development and external relations role focused on building partnerships and translating relationships into impact for vulnerable communities.

Duty Station: Bangkok, Thailand (no remote option). Contract length: 3+ years with initial one year contract.

Duties & Responsibilities: Lead PIN's positioning and relationship-building with donors and stakeholders across Asia and the Pacific; develop and implement engagement plans aligned with PIN's Regional Business and Advocacy Strategies; generate donor intelligence and maintain a contacts database; identify, develop and pursue new funding opportunities with institutional donors, foundations, philanthropies and private sector partners; represent PIN at regional conferences, donor forums and events; develop presentations, capacity statements and partnership materials; and work closely with the Institutional Relations Department, Regional Directors, Country Directors and advocacy colleagues.

Requirements (Essential): Significant experience in donor relations, business development, institutional fundraising, external affairs or partnership development (e.g. GCF, DFAT, ADB, JICA, KOICA); established network within the development, humanitarian, philanthropic or public sector landscape in Asia; demonstrated success in cultivating strategic partnerships and securing funding; strong understanding of international development and humanitarian assistance architecture; exceptional relationship-building, communication and representation skills; and excellent written and verbal English. Desired: experience with major bilateral and multilateral donors, knowledge of climate finance mechanisms, and experience within an international NGO.

The geographic focus covers Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, Laos, Cambodia, Mongolia and Afghanistan.
