Terms: Specified Purpose Contract until 31/12/2027, Full Time, Hybrid contract (50% of working week from Concern Camden Street office)
Salary: GB6: EUR 57,683 - EUR 64,092
Requirements: Willingness to travel to London and Belfast Offices

Role Purpose:
The HR Advisor - Ireland & UK is responsible for the delivery and implementation of a range of professional HR services within the Dublin, London and Belfast offices and the provision of advice and guidance on a range of HR and organisational change initiatives in order to support Concern in the achievement of its mission. The role holder will provide HR support and guidance to Senior Management, Departmental and Line Managers in the delivery of the organisational strategy in line with Concern's People Strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Senior Management to develop and implement people strategies that support their strategic and operational objectives;
- Represent the voice of SMT and Managers within HR to inform the creation of HR initiatives/priorities;
- Act as a first point of contact for managers, providing best practice advice and guidance on complex employee relations, performance issues, conflict resolution and investigations;
- Manage and participate in investigations required in response to the misconduct of staff, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practice;
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to Senior Managers, Managers and staff within the Dublin, London and Belfast offices;
- Train, coach, support and offer guidance to management and staff on the application of HR policies and procedures in line with current legislation;
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition and Development team to inform succession plans and support recruitment of management level positions;
- Work closely with Learning & Development to ensure alignment between organisational needs and L&D initiatives;
- Support the review and development of HR policies and procedures;
- Promote a positive, inclusive and high performing work culture;
- Provide on-call cover for the 24 hour emergency phone;
- Ensure the organisation's values and policy commitments, including accountability, equality and safeguarding, are reflected in assigned responsibilities.
Role Holder Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in the field of Human Resources, preferably with significant generalist HR experience;
- Strong understanding of employment law, GDPR and HR best practice;
- Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills, with the confidence and ability to interact with all levels of the organisation;
- Ability to build strong working relationships and navigate complex organizational change initiatives;
- The ability to work as both part of a team and on own initiative.
