The Government of Tonga has secured funding from the World Bank for the Tonga Climate Resilient Transport Project II (TCRTP II) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The Ministry of Infrastructure (MOI) is an implementing agency of the project. The TCRTP, on behalf of the MOI, intends to contract Individual Consultants to support the Project Management Unit (PMU), which is responsible for implementing the project's plans and activities and reporting to the Ministry. The Ministry now seeks services for the following positions: IC2-29 – Communication Officer (Part Time), and IC2-3-5 – Contract Management Assistant (Full Time). The detailed Terms of Reference can be obtained at the address given in the notice. The TCRTP invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest. Interested consultants should provide a statement addressing the selection criteria, an updated CV demonstrating the required qualifications and relevant experience, and a list of 3 referees. Candidates are responsible for ensuring their eligibility. A firm may nominate an individual, but only the experience and qualifications of the nominated individual will be used in the selection process. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the Selection of Individual Consultants (INDV) method set out in the World Bank's Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (Seventh Edition, September 2025). Applicants who are civil servants of Tonga at the time of application are ineligible; PSC clearance before the application deadline is required.
