About the Job: To support partners to build a robust Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning system for effective implementation of the poverty graduation model. Reports to: Technical Assistance - MEL Manager. Location: Kenya, with frequent travels in Africa. Full-time contract.
Responsibilities: Build capacity of implementing partners on MEL (70%) - review or develop theory of change for TA projects; support local partners in developing MEL plans, M&E frameworks (logical framework, performance management plans, indicator tracking tables); refine and develop data collection tools including household surveys; build partner staff capacity in M&E tools, data quality checks and cleaning; manage and lead the database management system. Analysis and reporting (10%) - support end-of-cycle reports, update logframes and indicator tracking tables, create MEL reports for funders/stakeholders. Learning and adaptation (10%) - support performance reviews, document adaptations and lessons learned, develop learning products. Administration (10%) and Safeguarding.
Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Social Sciences, Statistics, Economics, International Development or a related field. At least 2 years of experience conducting monitoring and evaluation for social impact programming. Experience with Ultra-Poor Graduation (UPG) projects desirable; Salesforce and TaroWorks a plus. Strong quantitative skills and data analysis with good command of STATA; proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Google tools. Excellent written and oral English; strong collaborative and relationship management skills.
