Senior Program Associate
Job Summary
The Senior Program Associate will be responsible in managing the technical component of the SEARCA Hub for Agriculture and Rural Innovation for the Next Generation (SHARING) under the direct supervision of the Emerging Innovation for Growth Department.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Development Economics, Agricultural Economics, Development Communication, Community Development, or related fields.
Work Experience:
At least three (3) years of progressive experience in project coordination, program support, or a related role.
Terms of Reference:
* Manage the technical content of SHARING facilities
* Develop new information materials and revise guidelines for use of SHARING * Develop and manage the execution of improvements for SHARING in terms of content including upgrade physical displays and QR-code content * Monitor user feedback for improvement strategies, maintain high user engagement using social media marketing * Manage annual plan and program design of events, Agri-museum dynamic content * Ensure the high-quality working environment for users, including inventory management of supplies and materials.
* Organize Innovation events including Incubation and Technology Transfer at SHARING
* Design and Organize learning events * Coordinate with possible partners for event implementation * Provide instructions on makerspace tools * Provide Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property support and advisory for relevant clients
Skills
* Proficient in project proposal development, primarily on project budgeting and accounting, and financial report preparation
* Experienced in project monitoring, particularly on budget disbursement, and financial administration and management
* Skilled in liaising, coordinating, communicating, and networking with foreign and local officers /institutions.
* Good management, organizational, and coordination capabilities.
* Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and client orientation skills.
* Proficient in computer software applications (word processing, presentation, spreadsheets, database, search engines).
