Request for Proposal (RFP): Selection of Service Provider(s) to Conduct a Study on Remittances
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is an intergovernmental organization established in 1951 and is committed to the principle that humane and orderly migration benefits both migrants and society.
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) invites qualified service providers to submit proposals for conducting a research study on remittances sent by Indian migrants in Canada to India. The study will examine remittance patterns, trends, channels, and developmental impacts, while also exploring the broader socioeconomic linkages between migration, financial inclusion, diaspora engagement, and sustainable development in both India and Canada.
The selected service provider will be responsible for producing a comprehensive, evidence-based, and inclusive report that generates insights to inform policy, programming, and bilateral cooperation on migration and development.
