The main objective of the consultant is to be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the project's GRM, ensuring complaints are received, documented, assessed, referred, and resolved in a timely and confidential manner.
Responsibilities: The Consultant is required to do everything necessary to involve stakeholder engagement, capacity building, monitoring grievance trends, and ensuring compliance with World Bank ESF requirements and national legal frameworks. He/she provide technical guidance to ensure compliance and adhering to the general procedures and guidelines of the World Bank (WB) in order to ensure quality output of program interventions and all other tasks detailed in the Terms of Reference (TOR) that will be provided upon submission of application (in person or by E-mail) and can be found at the following website: www.mictps.gov.ss/eardip-south-sudan
Selection Criteria: The selection shall be based on qualification, experience and skills of the candidate and followed by an interview. The qualification, experience and skills should include: A Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Law, Public Administration, or a related field; Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in grievance handling, community engagement, social safeguards, or related roles (experience with World Bank-funded or donor projects is an advantage); Knowledge of World Bank ESF standards, particularly ESS10, and national grievance handling procedures; Demonstrated experience in handling sensitive complaints (SEA/SH, labor, or social conflicts) confidentially; Strong communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills, with proficiency in English (knowledge of Arabic and additional local languages is an advantage); Computer proficiency in MS Office and database management.
