- Ensure consistency in terminology, structure, and style across the website.
- Help prepare content in line with basic accessibility and SEO principles (headings, alt texts, link descriptions).
- Check links, metadata, and image rights, and keep track of the migration progress.
- Support the communications team with related tasks, such as updating newsletter and social media references to the new website.
Requirements:
- Enrolled at a German university.
- Excellent written English and German.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with attention to detail.
- Structured working style; ability to work independently.
- Experience with WordPress or another CMS, basic HTML, SEO, web accessibility, or image editing tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Interest in press freedom, journalism, human rights, democracy, or European civil society.
- Previous experience in editorial work, journalism, communications, NGOs, or student media is an asset.
