Last Mile Health saves lives in the world's most remote communities, partnering with governments to recruit, train, equip, and integrate professional community health workers into national health systems. The organization operates programs in Ethiopia, Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Malawi, with global offices in Accra, Ghana and the United States. The Partnerships and Communications team builds values-driven relationships with donors, managing the entire partnership journey from research and proposal writing to reporting. The Manager, Partnerships & Development will manage projects and deliverables supporting fundraising, donor engagement, and stewardship goals, including funder prospect research, donor meeting preparation, concept notes and proposals, due diligence, and donor-facing deliverables. The role supports donor visits, events, and conferences, and works closely with the Senior Director of Partnerships and senior leadership. Responsibilities include donor prospect research and briefings, managing due diligence and site visit planning, implementing cultivation strategies, leading stewardship processes, supporting conference attendance (e.g. Skoll World Forum, UNGA week, World Health Assembly), maintaining Salesforce data, and integrating DEI considerations into business development. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Public Health, Public Policy, Business, or related), exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong project management skills, ability to coordinate multiple contributors and work backward from deadlines, and experience with Google Workspace and Salesforce. Experience with philanthropy, institutional donors, proposal development, or global public health NGOs is a plus. This role is remote, open to candidates on the Eastern Seaboard of the US with US work authorization. Compensation range: $72,812–$91,602 USD annually.
