Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
MSH is seeking a Finance Director for two USG-funded projects in Ethiopia: the America First Global Health Strategy (AFGHS) and the Supply Chain Strengthening (SCS) projects. Reporting to the Senior Director for Finance & Administration, the Finance Director leads day-to-day financial management, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and reporting; translates approved work plans, budgets, policies, and donor requirements into sound processes and controls; supervises the country finance and accounting team; and supports project managers in timely implementation. Responsibilities include coordinating budgets and forecasts, monitoring expenditures and burn rates, overseeing accounting operations, cash forecasts, donor financial reporting, implementing internal controls and compliance with USG requirements, supporting audits, and directly supervising finance staff. Requires a Master's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field; minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience in financial management for international development programs including staff supervision; experience with USG-funded projects and compliance requirements in Ethiopia; strong budgeting, forecasting, and reporting skills; advanced QuickBooks Online and Excel skills; and excellent English and Amharic.
