The Technical Advisor, Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health (MNCH) provides technical leadership, guidance, and support for the integration of MNCH services with HIV, triple elimination (HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis B), tuberculosis (TB), and early childhood development (ECD) programming across EGPAF-supported countries. Working within the Technical Excellence team, the role strengthens the quality, integration, and sustainability of MNCH services, providing direct technical assistance to Ministries of Health and country programs in sub-Saharan Africa and other regions, in alignment with EGPAF's 2026-2028 Strategic Direction. Key responsibilities include leading EGPAF's strategy on integrated MNCH programming, providing technical expertise on high-impact MNCH services, supporting integration of PMTCT/eMTCT and pediatric HIV care within MNCH platforms, contributing to M&E frameworks and donor compliance, supporting proposal development and donor engagement, and providing mentorship and capacity-building to country-level technical staff. Required qualifications: advanced degree (MD, MPH, or equivalent) in public health, nursing, medicine, or related field; minimum 7-10 years of progressive technical experience in MNCH programming in sub-Saharan Africa; experience working with U.S. government and foundation-funded programs; strong technical writing and data analysis skills; willingness to travel internationally up to 30%; fluency in English required. French or Portuguese proficiency preferred.
