Job Purpose:
This position is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for assigned schools, ensuring quality education, effective operations, financial sustainability, enrollment and retention, and compliance with BEP-SE standards. The role will lead field teams, monitor performance, proactively address risks and gaps, and coordinate stakeholders to achieve sustainable school and programme outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic and operational leadership for assigned Social Enterprise Primary and Secondary Schools, ensuring alignment with BEP-SE strategy, annual plans, standards, and organizational priorities.
• Lead, supervise, and develop Programme Organisers and Headteachers through clear performance expectations, regular monitoring, coaching, and performance reviews to ensure accountability for school-level outcomes.
• Drive academic quality and student learning outcomes by monitoring teaching practices, teacher preparedness, attendance, student engagement, curriculum implementation, assessment, and academic progress, with timely corrective actions.
• Ensure effective school operations and compliance, including proper documentation and records, resource management, implementation of school activities, maintenance of operational standards, and management of operational, safeguarding, and other field-level risks.
• Drive financial sustainability and enrolment performance by monitoring student enrolment, retention, fee collection, outstanding dues, revenue, expenditure, and school budgets, while ensuring compliance with financial procedures.
• Lead community engagement, enrolment, retention, and school development initiatives, including outreach, stakeholder engagement, expansion, relocation, establishment of new schools, and coordination of required staffing, resources, and site readiness.
• Establish data-driven performance monitoring and stakeholder coordination mechanisms to review academic, operational, financial, enrolment, and retention performance; identify priorities; track corrective actions; and maintain effective relationships with Head Office, BRAC support functions, government authorities, parents, and communities.
Safeguarding responsibilities:
• Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
• Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Educational requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Educational Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Development Studies or any relevant discipline.
Experience requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant professional experience, with progressive experience in education programme management, school operations, field operations, or a related sector.
Additional Requirements:
• Experience in managing enrollment, retention, community engagement, stakeholder management, operational and financial management will be an advantage
• Sound knowledge of school operations, learning quality, and field programme implementation.
• Knowledge of financial management, compliance, and safeguarding practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage performance, prioritise competing demands, and drive results.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
