FSC is looking for an engaged Programme Manager Network Development to work in a multinational environment as a strategic business partner to a portfolio of country operations across Europe, strengthening operational performance, resilience, and growth. This parental leave cover position focuses on maintaining continuity of relationships and operational stability across the assigned portfolio.
Main responsibilities include partnering with and supporting six country operations; guiding National Representatives and country leaders in developing annual plans, budgets, and strategic priorities; identifying support needs and connecting country operations with regional or FSC International expertise; developing growth initiatives including funding applications and income-generating activities; monitoring operational, financial, reputational, and governance risks; leading Europe's engagement with FSC International Key Accounts and Sales; driving adoption of FSC International services; fostering collaboration across European country operations; coordinating regional responses to operational or supply-chain integrity issues; and leading, coaching, and developing direct reports.
Requirements: university degree in Business, International Development, Environmental Management, Sustainability, Public Administration, or related discipline; significant professional experience in international network development, membership organizations, certification systems, or comparable business partnering roles; proven people management experience; strong project management skills; experience in international, multicultural environments; excellent relationship-building and communication skills; sound financial acumen; and fluency in English (additional European language desirable).
Contract: Temporary, 12-18 months parental leave cover, full-time (40 hrs/week), starting January 2027, hybrid work in Bonn, Germany.
