The Senior Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Associate will support implementation of the Leveraging Finance and Investments for a Green Transition (LIFT) programme in Africa, part of the GGGI Africa Regional team, based in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire. Reporting to the Programme Manager with a technical line to the Regional MEL Senior Officer, the role leads the overall MEL function of the LIFT programme, ensuring results are systematically monitored, measured, verified, reported, and used for adaptive management and evidence-based decision-making. Responsibilities include developing and updating the LIFT MEL Plan, refining the Theory of Change and Results Framework/logframe, coordinating programme evaluations, consolidating data and results from participating African countries, maintaining programme information in GGGI's corporate systems, conducting data collection and analysis, producing progress reports and dashboards, supporting capacity-building, and contributing to proposal development. Requires a Bachelor's degree in economics, project management, public policy, business administration, or related field (Master's an advantage); at least 5 years of work experience with 3+ years in MEL and a proven track record executing the full MEL cycle internationally; proficiency in English; technical proficiency in XLS form-building, MS Access/SQL, relational databases, and/or PowerBI preferred; experience with multi-country/regional programmes desirable. National Position at G7 grade, salary starting at USD32,458 per annum, plus 15% retirement contribution, 27 days annual leave, and private health insurance.
