Palladium is recruiting a Labour Mobility Officer to help connect Fijian workers with safe, well-supported employment opportunities through the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme. This full-time, fixed-term role based in Suva runs until 30 June 2027, recruited by and reporting to the Manager, Foreign Employment Services at the Ministry of Employment and National Employment Centre and Foreign Employment Services Unit. The role supports worker recruitment, mobilisation, training, welfare and reintegration, while providing responsive customer service, stakeholder coordination and reliable administration. Key responsibilities include supporting worker registration, screening and selection; assisting employers during recruitment missions; coordinating visa applications, pre-departure briefings and work-readiness activities; organising training in English language, digital literacy, interview skills and financial literacy; supporting worker welfare, returnee and reintegration activities; responding to enquiries from workers and employers; building relationships with government agencies, training providers and community organisations; and maintaining accurate records and reports. Candidates should have a diploma or bachelor's degree in human resources, public administration, business administration, commerce, economics, community development, social sciences, education or a related discipline, plus at least three years' relevant experience in employment services, recruitment, workforce development, labour mobility or administration. Strong customer service, communication and organisational skills are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems, and fluency in English. Experience with the PALM scheme or similar labour mobility programs is an advantage.
