This practical, people-focused role supports Fiji's labour mobility program through worker recruitment, screening, training, mobilisation and reintegration. Working with the National Employment Centre and Foreign Employment Services Unit, the officer will help build a skilled, work-ready pool of workers while providing responsive customer service and reliable administration. This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity based in Suva until 30 June 2027. Key responsibilities include supporting worker recruitment, screening, selection and mobilisation; maintaining worker registration records and databases; responding to worker and employer enquiries; coordinating recruitment events, employer interviews and logistics; preparing and delivering pre-departure briefings, post-deployment returnee briefings and work readiness training; developing and maintaining training materials; engaging with training providers and stakeholders; monitoring training effectiveness; and supporting procurement, administrative and finance-related activities. Requirements: a diploma or bachelor's degree in human resources, education, training, public administration, commerce, economics, business administration or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience; at least three years' experience in recruitment, training delivery, workforce development or employment services; a Certificate I or II in Train the Trainer or equivalent; strong administration and organisational skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities; clear communication and customer service skills. Experience in labour mobility, employment, migration or workforce development programs, and knowledge of the PALM scheme, will be highly regarded.
